The 2010 Winter Olympics brought the world’s eye to Vancouver once more. Neighbourhoods across the Greater Vancouver Area and up the Sea-to-Sky corridor rose to the occasion with gusto. Seemingly overnight, the world recognized Vancouver as a beautiful, active, and enthusiastic city. This reputation has remained long since the Olympics have ended. Foreign investment and real estate remain strong and confidence in the city is high. Infrastructure continues to be improved with the opening of the new Port Mann Bridge, the expansion of Highway 1, and the Evergreen rapid transit line into the Tri-Cities.
Our Financial Spa® concept continues to impress
The start of this decade has continued to be just as successful as the previous one. We have already achieved such prestigious accomplishments as being named one of the 50 Best Small and Medium Employers in Canada, as well as receiving the Waterstone “Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures” award. Our new West Broadway branch opened in 2011 and has experienced tremendous growth in its early years of operation. Our Financial Spa concept and our innovative technologies continue to earn us international awards and accolades.
In 2013 we adopted our current operating name, BlueShore Financial, as part of our long-range plan to build a healthy and sustainable organization. The next year BlueShore Financial opened its new custom-built head office and Lonsdale Financial Spa in the heart of central Lonsdale, North Vancouver. In May of 2016, BlueShore Financial celebrated 75 years of improving clients’ financial well-being. We opened our 13th branch in 2018 in the vibrant Kerrisdale community. Our future has never been brighter.
