Opening an account yourself is easy and convenient

If you use BlueShore’s Online Banking, you can open savings and chequing accounts without the need to visit a branch or contact our Solution Centre.

To open an account online, you must first log in to Online Banking:

  • On the Account Summary page, select Account Services from the left-hand menu, then click Open an Account.
  • Select the Account Type (chequing or savings) you would like to open. You will notice that you can also open a Term Deposit in the same way.
  • After selecting the Account Type, you’ll be presented with a range of available products. Please note that you will only be presented with the types of accounts you are eligible to open online. This will vary by client. If you wish to open a different type of account, please contact us.
  • Click Open Account to the right of the product.
  • On the page that follows, you will see that the Account Name field has been automatically filled in. You can change the name to better suit the purpose of the account if you wish.
  • Enter the Initial Deposit Amount and the Transfer From Account to designate where the initial funds should come from.
  • You can also attach this account to a specific Relationship and indicate its intended use.
  • Click Continue, review the details, then click Confirm.
