Using Samsung Pay for contactless payments

Looking for an easy, secure and convenient way to pay for purchases using your Android device? Turn your Samsung device into a digital wallet by setting up Samsung Pay through your Collabria credit card and make quick contactless payments from your phone or other Samsung device.

Samsung Pay offers the convenience and security of contactless payments by simply hovering your phone or wearable over a merchant's card reader, letting you complete a purchase without a card, cash, or even a physical wallet.

To use Samsung Pay in-store, you must have a compatible Samsung device and Samsung account. All Collabria Credit Cards can be loaded into the Samsung Pay Wallet by downloading the app from the Apps menu. Samsung Pay uses several layers of security and does not store or share cardholder information.

You can use Samsung Pay to make payments in-store. Look for the Samsung Pay or contactless payment symbols at checkout.

Adding your Collabria credit card to Samsung Pay

You can add a credit card directly to the Samsung Pay app. Just open the app, select “Get started” and follow the on-screen instructions.

Please note that you must accept Collabria’s Terms of Use for Samsung Pay each time you add a Collabria credit card to Samsung Pay and that you are subject to Samsung’s terms and conditions.

Validating your card in Samsung Pay

Before you can begin using Samsung Pay, your card must be validated by Collabria and Samsung. Once your enter your credit card information and Samsung and Collabria confirm your identity, you will receive a message stating that Samsung Pay is now ready for your use.

If your identity cannot be confirmed

If Collabria and Samsung do not have enough information to confirm your card, you will receive a message prompting you to validate your card. You will be able to do this in one of three ways:

  • Option 1: Tap on the option to call Cardholder Support
  • Option 2: Tap on the option to receive a 6-digit code via email
  • Option 3: Tap on the option to receive a 6 digit code through text message

Please note: You will will only see options 2 and 3 (email and text message) if your email address and/or mobile number have been registered with Collabria for at least 60 days. If the information is less than 60 days old, you will only see Option 1 (call Cardholder Support).

Replacing your Collabria credit card in Samsung Pay?

The Device Account Number is automatically connected to your card number. However, if your device is not working once you receive a replacement card, you may need to add the new card to your Samsung device.
