Avoiding over-contribution penalties on your TFSA
Perhaps the most common error TFSA owners make is over-contributing to their TFSA. Understand your limits to avoid the penalties.
To transfer your TFSA from another institution to BlueShore Financial, please contact us to request an Incoming T2033 “Request Funds from Another Institution” form.
Transferring your TFSA does not constitute a withdrawal and does not impact your available contribution room. As such, there are no tax forms to file with the CRA.
This would be a good time to talk to your BlueShore advisor about your savings and investment goals and to review your portfolio.
