Ways to use your debit card when you travel
A BlueShore Access Card (debit card) allows you to make purchases at retailers and businesses instead of using cash or credit. You can also make surcharge-free cash withdrawals, deposit cash or cheques, and change your PIN at Canadian ATMs displaying the THE EXCHANGE® Network and ACCULINK® logos.
When crossing the border to the U.S., you’ll have access to the Accel® and Allpoint® point-of-sale debit network with more than one million participating merchants, including the majority of the top 100 U.S. retailers.* It works the same way as debit card purchases at home and, as an added value, a cash-back option is available at most merchants.
If you’re traveling further abroad, you can make withdrawals at virtually any international ATM displaying the Cirrus® network logo.
Using Interac Flash®
The ability to pay using “tap” (contactless payments) is only available in Canada through Interac.®
